“In the course of those many days” God shaped the life of Moses, in the unknown and unapplauded Midian Desert,a hot, dry, forsaken place of obscurity. Moses, who for the first 40 years of his life had been a prominent member of the royal family, spending his days on the parched sands of the desert, suddenly and totally removed from people: shelved, sidelined, and silent. But God is at work behind the scenes!
God is always at work behind the scenes! And just like with Moses, God uses all of life and our life experiences to shape and mold us, and He deposits things along our way in the desert, that He uses to prepare us for what He has for us in the next chapter (or later on),things that we may be totally unaware of in the midst of the desert, but that God will use when we avail ourselves to Him!
